What is Kibo

In a nutshell, Kibo is an online distributed order management system (OMS) that enables manufacturers like Tony of Beverly to market products online and pass sales opportunities to the retailers that carry the merchandise. In other words, you can fulfill orders online without worrying about maintaining an eCommerce website and make new customers that you otherwise would not have.

Shopatron developed this innovative system back in 2001. Today it is known as Kibo, and it’s the largest and most robust platform of its kind. Manufacturers like Cost Plus, Bosch, K2, and yes Tony of Beverly have partnered with Shopatron.

How Does it Work?

The following 2 minute video explains a bit about how Kibo (Formerly Shopatron) works.

Kibo gives retailers new ways to generate sales and bring motivated customers into their store.

 

How It Works

  1. Shoppers place orders on www.tonyofbeverly.com.
  2. Orders are posted to the Shopatron Order Exchange for viewing by fulfillment partners.
  3. Fulfillment partners request orders they want to fulfill, and the order is assigned to the closest stocking partner.
  4. The assigned fulfillment partner ships the order to the customer or delivers via in-store pickup, using on-hand inventory.
  5. Fulfillment partners receive guaranteed payments twice monthly for all fulfilled orders.
